The fall of an airline (Dun dun duun!)

Their passengers, in an attempt to continue flying with them, tried tying and duct-taping their bags together so it’ll be “one piece”.

Okay, it’s not Pan Am level catastrophe.

A few weeks ago, an airline in my country (whose name will remain unmentioned) decided to prohibit multiple pieces of luggage below 32 kgs.

So if you have 2 pieces of luggage, the sum of which is your allowed baggage weight, you have to pay extra fees.

That, in and of itself is pretty annoying. BUT it gets worse! Their passengers, in an attempt to continue flying with them, tried tying and duct-taping their bags together so it’ll be “one piece”.

So imagine other airline customers seeing a line of passengers with tied-up bags looking like they all have individual kidnap victims.

The brand’s image is ruined! (unless that’s the image you’re going for… if that’s the case, you do you boo!)

It’s affected both brand image and customer service…

Now it gets detrimental: They now are prohibiting the tying or taping of bags or luggage together.

WHAT?

What do you think?
